Megladon Teeth compared to a Great White
Shown above is a fossil toothe of a megalodon ("big tooth"), compared to
one from it's living relative, the great white shark. Megalodons reached 43
feet long and must have been fearsome predators when they cruised the seas 15
million years ago. The small tooth is from Ptychodus from 120 million
years ago. These sharks probably ate shellfish.
